Traditional/Metal Braces

Isn’t it time for a change from the ordinary system of braces to the extraordinary Damon System?

Our office is committed to providing only the newest technologies in orthodontic care which is why we are a provider of the Damon System of Braces. This revolutionary system has a built in sliding door that allows the wire to slide more freely so your teeth will move more comfortably during treatment. Traditional braces use elastic bands to hold wires in place which causes more friction and can at times be very uncomfortable for the patient.

What does this mean for you?

Comfortable Care

With the sliding door movement you will feel less pressure on your teeth and overall a more comfortable treatment experience. Adjustments will be piece of cake.

Shorter Appointments

The Damon System also operates more efficiently than traditional braces which mean shorter appointment times. We know orthodontic appointments can be an interruption in your busy schedule so we want to get you in and out quickly as possible.

Quality Results

By facilitating healthy tooth movement and complete tooth control the finished alignment has never looked better and more precise.

Clear Braces

Ceramic braces are made of a translucent material that is virtually clear. This makes them popular among our patients who are interested in maintaining a more natural-looking aesthetic during treatment, especially adults. The drawback to ceramic braces, however, is that they are more fragile, and the elastic ties may become discolored between visits to our office.

Invisalign

It works through a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing. So you can smile more during treatment as well as after.

Frequently Asked Questions!

Q: How much does Invisalign® cost?

A: As with other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign® depends on the complexity of a patient’s case. The cost is generally slightly more expensive than traditional braces, but find out what your treatment involves by contacting our office for a complementary appointment. We also do not let finances stand in the way of getting a beautiful smile. We offer a number of payment plans that make any treatment fit our patient’s budget.

Q: Does Invisalign® really work?

A: Yes. In both clinical research and in orthodontic and dental practices nationwide, Invisalign® has been proven effective at straightening teeth

Q: Does insurance cover Invisalign®?

A: Because medical benefits differ significantly from policy to policy, each patient should review their coverage. However, if a patient has orthodontic coverage, Invisalign® should be covered to the same extent as conventional braces.

Q: What are aligners made of?

A: Aligners are made of clear, strong medical grade plastic that is virtually invisible when worn.

Q: What do aligners look like?

A: Aligners are nearly invisible and look similar to clear tooth-whitening trays, but are custom-made for a better fit to move teeth. Some orthodontists and dentists have referred to them as “contact lenses for teeth.”

Q: How does Invisalign® effectively move teeth?

A: Like brackets and archwires, Invisalign® Aligners move teeth through the appropriate placement of controlled force on the teeth. The principal difference is that Invisalign® not only controls forces, but also controls the timing of the force application. At each stage, only certain teeth are allowed to move, and these movements are determined by the orthodontic treatment plan for that particular stage. This results in an efficient force delivery system.

Q: What is the minimum age of a patient that a doctor can treat with Invisalign®

A: Doctors can use Invisalign to treat a vast majority of patients with fully-erupted molars

SPEED System

Dr. Park is pleased to recommend SPEED Braces to her patients.

SPEED Braces have revolutionized orthodontic treatment by eliminating the need for the elastics that traditional braces require to straighten teeth. Instead, SPEED Braces use a “Super Elastic – Energy Storing” Spring Clip to straighten teeth. The SPEED Spring Clip applies a light continuous force to gently move teeth. The result is greater patient comfort, and potentially faster treatment and fewer appointments. SPEED Braces are also the smallest metal braces available today, so they are easier to keep clean than standard braces, and they look fantastic!
